Called 2012 (Middle Temple)

Alex commenced a reduced mixed Family and Civil pupillage with Pendragon Chambers in
September 2023 under the supervision of Veronica Newman. This mentorship opportunity
will allow him to refine his skills and knowledge further, ensuring that he remains at the
forefront of the legal field.

Born in South Wales and raised in the Vale of Glamorgan, Alex attended Cowbridge
Comprehensive School and Sixth Form where he completed his A-Level studies.

Having concluded his undergraduate studies at Aberystwyth University, earning a 2.1 degree
in History, Alex then ventured into the field of law where he attended Swansea University to
pursue the Law Conversion Course, solidifying his foundation in legal studies and achieving
a Pass with Commendation. Alex’s dedication to the legal profession was further
demonstrated when he achieved a "Very Competent" on the BPTC at Cardiff Law School.

Alex embarked on his legal journey after being called to The Honourable Society of Middle
Temple in 2012 when he began his professional journey as a Solicitor’s Agent at Kearns &
Co., practising a wide variety of civil matters ranging from mortgage possessions to small
claims where he honed his legal skills and gained invaluable experience in the field.
Alex then continued his legal career with LPC Law where his pursuit for continual
professional development led him to undertake more than 3,800 cases in various areas of civil
litigation, including an impressive track record of attending over 500 Small Claims cases, a
testament to his commitment to pursuing a long career at the Bar.

Never one to remain idle, in 2021 Alex became a Chartered Legal Executive with the
Chartered Institute of Legal Executives after completing his Work Based Learning Journal.

Outside the courtroom, Alex is happily married with two children. In his leisure time, he
enjoys spending time with his family, socialising with friends, playing golf and watching
rugby.

With his extensive experience, commitment to excellence and a career spanning over a
decade, Alex looks forward to being available for instruction in all aspects of Civil and
Family Law from December 2023.
