Background
Paul studied modern and medieval languages (French and Spanish) at Clare College, Cambridge. He completed the Diploma in Law at City University, London and ‘Bar Finals’ at the Inns of Court School of Law. He was called to the Bar in November 1982 and was highly commended in the prestigious Hudson Prize for construction law in 1997.
Practice
Paul predominantly specialises in contentious and non-contentious construction law. His practice includes disputes under standard form contracts and other less formal arrangements, matters under The Party Wall Etc. Act 1996, bonds and guarantees and professional negligence claims against construction professionals. In addition, Paul undertakes some general Chancery work, including rights of way and boundary disputes and some personal injury litigation. In March 2017 he was appointed to the All Wales Legal Services Panel (Chancery & Civil Law, Other).
Paul was accredited for public access work in 2007.
