Richard was born in the United States but was brought up and educated in Pembrokeshire, he is a fluent Welsh speaker and regularly conducts trials in the Welsh language.
After successfully completing his pupillage in Cardiff Chambers he opened Carmarthen Chambers in 1985.
Pendragon Chambers and Carmarthen Chambers joined forces in September 2010 and wish to grow further in the future. Instructions to both chambers can be given to the clerks at Pendragon.
Richard continues to practice in Family, Civil and Criminal Law, Richard is a very experienced barrister and has appeared in courts at all levels throughout England and Wales
His personal interests include field sports, agriculture and classical music.

VAT details are available upon request and are provided on our initial acknowledgement letter which is generated upon receipt of your Brief or instruction to Counsel. It is also provided upon our fee note to our client.
